I live in Wales and today received my Join Us letter from Reform UK, complete with SAE which I posted back to them, immediately, empty. If every other person in Wales did this, Reform would spend over £1.5 million on postage. Not sorry. Join me Cymru.

If you tape the letter to a brick it will cost them even more. Depends on your local postage rules.

@fesshole - but if it's SAE hasn't the money already been spent? You can bin it to the same end?!

@fesshole Why not fill the envelopes with junk mail that you have received or those annoying flyers that get inserted into local free papers?

Or campaign leaflets from other political parties? Or information about Welsh language courses including an application form?

Anything to make Reform have to pay excess postage charges by making the envelopes heavier.

No, you should not return the envelope empty. You should fill it with as much blank paper as it can hold. There's a chance that Reform UK will need to pay extra postage on the heavy envelopes it receives.

@fesshole I'm in Wales too, waiting for mine to arrive so I can return it and waste their money 👍 (my ex had hers last week...and did the same, lol!).

I would have taken the opportunity to send a pertinent message back to Reform since they were so kind as to provide an SAE.
