Your File system is at the core of your digital sovereignty: "Is this information a file on your SSD?" When Dropbox was released, the magic was that your file system was now on all your machines. But modern software hides it from you: Miro & Figma do not store files on your machine, they are stored on their servers. Most iPhone apps hide their files from you, making the Files app a bit of a joke. "Where is the file?" is a core question, followed by "is the format of the file an open standard?"
