   i know this is an unpopular opinion but the fedi habit of using CWs as topic lines (that every once in a while someone insists on) feels like if someone in a verbal conversation went "hey, is it alright if i talk about []?" before every single time they spoke

   we get how that'd be fucken annoying right? like really extremely irritating?

     @xan I try to use CWs for topics that actually upset people, unless those people really need to be upset 🤷
     If a cis person is uncomfortable because we're talking about being trans, they need to be uncomfortable. If an abled is uncomfortable when we talk about ableism, they need to be uncomfortable. If a white person is uncomfortable when a Black person is talking about racism, they/we need to be uncomfortable. Treating cognitive dissonance the same as a PTSD trigger only helps the oppressors
