   I'm realizing that the reason why everyone on Tumblr is griping about the legitimacy of their various poly relationships is because Da Pope has issued a decree saying that marriage is a contract between two equal partners.

   Which, progressive! They're not being homophobic! maybe we'll get a pope saying gay marriage is "fine as long as you commit to one person" within my lifetime.

   But also, Tumblr, what did you expect??

     Tumblr, you need to make peace with the fact that being queer means many people you admire and respect will be unhappy with your choices.

     This is the "doing crimes" part of "be gay, do crimes" because being gay is itself a kind of crime.
