     I knew a guy once, his name was Wim. He was a VP at Oracle. It was going okay, we hung out with our mutuals once in a while. And, one day, he's gone absolute shilib. He started posting on FB almost every day, with a tag mention, "fascist bigot Pete Zaitcev will not like this" and a link to a product of the liberal outrage machine. I didn't pay any attention for a couple of months, but had to remove him from friends to unclog notifications. IIRC FB didn't have a mute back then.
     
     And that's a real person. So, I don't think I'd pay any particular attention in the above scenario. Although I'm not wealthy.
