Goldman Sachs is defending their Epstein email pen pal. She's one of their attorneys, and the company claims they benefit from her counsel every day.

She was emailing Epstein right up to the end. She has expressed remorse that she ever met Epstein, but looking at the timeline and the emails, you have to wonder how great her counsel can be.

One of the issues is how the attorney and Goldman Sachs are framing her relationship with Epstein. It was business, only business.

There were trips planned to Paris and his island. Trips, especially gifted trips - Hello, Justice Thomas! - absolutely blur the line between professional and personal.

Of course, Epstein's conviction in 2008 should have provided some clarity. Traveling with him after 2008? Really bad idea. But Goldman Sachs, tell us again about that great counsel.
