(rant) There's an awful lot of press wording about "underage women", rather than calling a spade for a spade. They're "teenage girls/teenage children" these creeps were abusing. Not "underage women". (rant off)

It's an old trick to assign agency, and every time I notice it I'm careful to pay attention, because that exposes the biases and intentions of the speaker.
A 'grown man' of 16 was shot dead for a pack of skittles, but a 'young boy' of 25 was found planning murder in a neo-Nazi chat room...
In the minds of the pedophile apologists, assigning agency to a girl who was caught being forced into sex makes her the one at fault, not the shitfuck who flew out to Epstein Island to partake in rape.
