   OMFG I've seen Back to the Future many many many times and it wasn't until reading this in Michael J. Fox's book that I realized when he drives over the pine tree in 1955, the mall's name is different when he gets back to 1985 🤯

     Listening to the updated re-release of Unspooled's episode of Back to the Future and they mention how this scene with the church lady raising money is NOT about fixing the clock, but keeping it broken. Her group is against progress.

     "Mayor Wilson is sponsoring an initiative to REPLACE that clock."

     "We think it should be PRESERVED exactly the way it is, as part of our history and heritage"
