   @sumisu3 there’s been a proliferation of Yemeni coffee shops here. They tend to have good halal food and snacks too and they also open much later in SF and are nice third places to hang out.

   There’s a dude in my neighborhood who has a coffee farm in Yemen and I’ll ask him when I see him about beans

     When I was in NYC the other week there was a Yemeni coffee place near my hotel. Only had a chance to get a coffee on my way to the Port Authority bus station to get to Newark airport. Glad I bought a bag of whole beans and asked some questions on how they were making their coffee. I’ve made Turkish/Greek coffee at home a fair amount but now adding cinnamon, cardamom and clove with a touch of sugar is a special happy place.

     Wish I could find Yemeni green beans in NZ so I can roast my own. Will keep looking.
