When I had a stroke I was actually quite shocked at the lack of information from NHS when discharged.

When I had a fall I had like four separate "you broke, or nearly broke, this that and the other" type advice sheets. Very good stuff.

For a stroke I only had one thing on speech issues (with a number to call if I had problems, yes, really!). Nothing on what is a stroke, or why, or what to do next.

But it seems that if ever I have a hip replacement the NHS has detailed advice for me... Phew.
