   @Gargron "I use alt text" is ambiguous, to say the least. The users are mostly the visually impaired.

     @edgeofeurope Why is it ambiguous? Mastodon has a strong culture of writing alt text.

     @Gargron It's in the word 'use'. I 'add' alt text, or I 'write' or 'apply' it.
