   We are going from a little over $1000/month to more than $2300/month. Some of that is an adult child we're covering because she's underpaid, but not most of it. My family can bear it (plus two kids in state colleges, plus helping a disabled relative...), but it won't be pleasant. And it does not make me feel any better that other families will be much worse off.

   Did I mention that everyone who voted for Trump is monstrous?
