@JulioReich that's what they tell *you*, but then they just give illegals driver's licenses with "no name given"

@sickburnbro How? I live in a "blue" county on the East Coast and even here we need a valid social security number, or state ID number (linked to your SSN through the DMV) to register to vote.

@JulioReich I dunno how you can be looking at news in 2025 and not say "oh ok, they are breaking every rule, everywhere."
Yeah, I guess they have a facade that incurious people can point to and say "no man, everything is on the up and up"
But if New York state which went draconian on COVID shit is handing out "No Name Given" licenses to illegals, it's all cooked.

@sickburnbro Not where I live, they love their bureaucracy. The other year when I was renewing the foreign student ahead of me had to hand over a shit tonne of documents.

@egirlyuumimain several million would guaranteed be a massive change, simply because those that weren't taken would actually be hiding.

@Polfusilier The entire system relies on honest people, and even in states where it's less so, all it takes is criminals in the right place to upend the whole thing.
"You need a valid driver's license to vote, and we only let citizens vote"
> system gives anyone who signs up for benefits a "register to vote" paperwork that says in 2pt font (only for citizens) and has social workers to help them get driver's licenses when they are "lacking in paperwork"

@sickburnbro In California poll workers are not supposed to ask anyone for their ID.

@UpADamnMountain indeed, thus it's either going to take less or never happen.
Since the chance of it happening is actually 15% it's interesting to say "hmm I wonder how that would change things"

@sickburnbro At current rates that would take about 25 years.

@leespringfield1903 @Robert_Edwardly @Polfusilier there are a lot of very nasty people in many states, the key is to keep them divided.

@Robert_Edwardly @Polfusilier @sickburnbro The families running California like the Gettys and Brown and Newsom and Pelosi deserve a massive Soviet style purge if Blumpfy had the balls for it.
