Vanessa Freudenberg, transgender woman and co-founder / co-author of the incredible OpenCroquet 3d virtual world system built on Smalltalk (Alan Kay and etc were also involved) has unfortunately passed away due to suicide

She made incredibly cool contributions to the world of computer science and decentralized systems. https://www.freudenbergs.de/vanessa/

   Rest in peace.

@cwebber Rest In Peace. I'm not very familiar with her work, but I had heard about it from time to time. It's sad to hear of the passing of someone with such talent.
