   Oops, didn’t quite finish clue 4 before clue 5 dropped tonight (it’s already tomorrow in NZ). Might can finish it later, though efficiency tends to drop the longer I go on this lace.

     I think I have FINALLY got my errors straightened out in this shawl. 15 grams of yarn left = 5 or 6 more rows before bindoff.

     Done with regular pattern.
     Gonna stop for tonight because my back is killing me. I think I can do 10-12 more rows just of the last edging, and still hv enough to b/o.

     I lost a couple of knitting hours because my yarn barfed out of my cake. It took forever to untangles and get it neatly rewound. But back on track again.

     I think I'll skip pen club today to work on the shawl. I need to get this thing off my brain. Prob can't do another repeat of this section with the yarn I have left though...

     Last clue has dropped! nnn rows to go (number depends on amount of yarn and what ending options I take, but probably at least 40.)

     Clue 5 complete. Maybe I should do more MKALs. This whole business of trying to get clues done before the next one comes out has really kept me on task here.
     Unblocked lace absolutely looks like boiled ass. but here's an unblocked section, looking like a huge mess. But it's going to block out really nicely with a lot of good drape, I think.

     And now I've finished 168 out of 180 rows on clue 5. Another long session tomorrow should finish it up! last clue is 10/18.

     Fixed (fudged) my error, finished Clue 4, made a good start on Clue 5.
     Clue 5 is like twice as long as the rest of the clues (by # of rows). But it's a little easier, maybe.
