   Aside: I miss when app icons were detailed, different colours, and round rects. Most of these are so flat and bland.

     Switched from the default Google Android launcher to the open-source Fossify Launcher on my phone. The best part might be removing the Google search bar that is forced upon you in the default launcher. So far everything else seems to work pretty much the same.
