I think the thing I like most about Blame is how so many scenes are without dialogue. They just let the visuals speak for themselves
- :ihavenomouth: likes this.

@binkle @bajax remember how they found a girl with terminal genes in the first chapters and she was never mentioned again?

@bajax that's true I have noticed sometimes I have to go back a page or two just to reinterpret what I thought I had just read. There's definitely some ambiguity there.
There's also some super impactful scenes like this one with the electro-fishers that really just take your breath away

@binkle the only trouble with blame is it's kinda hard to tell sometimes what's going on... is killy investigating this corridor cautiously? is he angry and looking for revenge? I know the ambiguity is part of it, but there are a lot of cases where what a character does just comes out of nowhere during fights and action scenes etc. the environmetns though are just.... ahhhh so cool

@Inginsub @binkle no.
the only thing I remember is one killy couldn't confirm whether she had the genes or not, he didn't have the ability at that time to verify just by making eye contact

@bajax @Inginsub I went back to check just now and it looks like he doesn't confirm. The closest is when he hands her off to that lady and she says the girl isn't mutated except for chromosomes 10 & 11

@bajax @Inginsub do they ever explain what her deal is/was?

@binkle @Inginsub no, they don't ever revisit the lady either as far as I can remember. that's a detail that just kinda slips your mind when other stuff starts happening

@bajax @binkle to be fair, hundreds and thousands of years pass between scenes
