   @JaxxAI Being a soccer fan myself as is my wife, we watched, read and talked a lot about the whole thing in the past weeks. Which brought us to the conclusion that we're not watching. We just can't. There are too many different reasons against following this tournament in any way.

     I don't want to get too political on Mastodon, I'm actively avoiding politics and keeping it techy on here as its better for me and my mental health. But I do want to say this: If the England kit had been specially designed for the World Cup with a rainbow band across the middle of the chest or even around one shoulder.... I'd probably have more interest in this tournament. As it is right now, I'm a football (soccer) fan who is struggling to get excited about the World Cup in Qatar.
