   Is it just me or are most Americans just delusional as fk when it comes to the severity and reality of the situation?

   Am I the only one that wouldn’t step foot into ANY protest considering the fact this is a highly retaliatory regime leaning into a full surveillance state? Showing up to protests arranged by Walmart benefactors with no masks on and cameras everywhere?

   Can anyone explain what the goal is and how this gets convicted felons out of federal office?

     Actual activists use them as recruiting, publicity and morale boosting events, otherwise yeah youre fully correct

     @ErickaSimone To be fair, people here had different opinions about the US, but gerrymandering bothered everyone, including those who bought "land of the free". Most countries in the EU have laws in place specifically preventing that kind of shenanigans.

     Even fascists stealing elections here just fake the popular vote instead of going through all these hoops.

     @ErickaSimone They're collecting all the data they think they'll need. They don't care about any amendment, unless it allows them to shoot, boil or behead you. They have a justicial system in place that will give them a pass to do all that, if they care about court rulings at all.

     Protests are an important part of a democracy, and Trump really seems to be bothered by people not admiring him, but from an outside view there's nothing democratic about the US any more.
