The Israelis being called "hostages" and the Palestinians being called "detainees" is propaganda.

The Israelis are being returned to family and supported by state-of-the-art medical technology to reintegrate them into their lives.

The Palestinians are being returned to the wreckage of their homes to dig through rubble and try to find the corpses of their children.

There are at least 11,056 Palestinian hostages, and unknown numbers of dead. But only 2000 are being released.

But everything in the media will be about the 20 Israeli hostages, and 28 Israeli bodies for propaganda sake.

The rebranding of the plaza outside the Yel Aviv Museum of Art as "Hostages Square" is for propaganda sake.

Every step in this "peace" will be a move by Israel to reify the idea that Palestinians are less than human and deserve to be murdered. By talking about the 20 Israeli *hostages*, but ignoring the at least 11,056 Palestinian *detainees*, they are pushing the idea that Israel was humane and Palestine was savage.

When you hear about the Israeli hostages, don't forget people like Saber Masalma—a Palestinian man who has been a hostage of Israel for 24 years.

When you hear Israel complain that Hamas is going back on their promise to return the bodies of dead Israeli hostages, remember that they are having to find those dead bodies in cities that have been bombed to oblivion by Israel.

When you hear Israel talk about Hamas as being brutal and violent, remember Israel instituted the Hannibal Directive and killed their own people.

It's not over until Palestine is free.
