   one of my favourite language tidbits is that English speakers call Japanese media about lesbians "yuri" (in Japanese), and Japanese speakers call the same thing "girl's love" (in English)

     In France, you can withdraw cash from a DAB (distributeur automatique de billets) using a PIN.
     In Québec, you can withdraw cash from an ATM using a NIP (numéro d’identification personnel).

     This is endlessly funny to me.
