      @mischievoustomato@tsundere.love america has higher average income but that is driven by the top 10% of earners and the cost of living (including food) is also much higher

      @anemone @mischievoustomato was more thinking fast food. Yes it may be somewhat more expensive than cooking at home but that's always been a big source of obesity because it is cheap and convenient enough
