   • Run your own homelab

   By a weird turn of events I ended up watching a presentation about Nix. I'm having a hard time understanding how that's better than Flatpak or containers. Maybe I'll have to do deep dive on that.

     @badnetmask I believe the main point of nix is how you can have your install described as a text file, so it makes it easy to reinstall your machine anywhere

     I knew that much already, but also they were talking about "self-contained apps with all their dependencies". That's the part that got me confused.
