   I've noticed recent Steam reviews for VNs (not just mine) complain about long stories or boring dialogues. Is it just me, or are we hooked on quick stuff like YouTube Shorts? Do modern players want faster stories, or am I overthinking this? 🤔 #visualnovel #indiedev #gamedev

     @winterwolves Maybe selling visual novels as "games" is not the best idea.

     @ayo @winterwolves Makes me wonder how visual novels do in stores more focused on books (reminds me that itch.io allows to sell stuff like ebooks for tabletop RPG).
     
     That said there's a type of gamers™ who hate on games that are focused on the story rather than purely gameplay.
