   Started the day getting stabbed in each arm to get my flu and covid jabs. I'm extremely proud of my brave wife @SaintlySin for doing the same in spite of being needle phobic, and continue to be cross at the government for restricting access to free jabs so we had to pay over £100 each to protect ourselves and those more vulnerable than us.

   Vaccines save lives folks, get as many of them as you can.

     I do have to say the restrictions on access to free vaccines in the UK to only those over the age of 75 are a mistake on every level, a misunderstanding of how public health works and likely to be a complete failure by the government's own cost saving metrics which seems like all they value. The people who can afford to spend a spare £100 (and Lord knows we barely can) are probably not the ones who are most likely to be exposed to
