   @monorail I saw a video about a pregnecy test that "runs doom".
   Sure it does, if you use the test as just the display and run something doom-ish on a god damn sbc wired to it.

     my elitist take is that if you're going to say "DOOM runs on everything" you'd better at least be starting with the actual doom source code. if you write a minimal first person shooter that looks like doom, for a calculator, it's not true that the calculator "runs doom". you wrote a game for the calculator, with the calculator in mind

     if you have to make some adjustments to the source code to meet the hardware where it's at, fine. but you do have to be starting from the actual game doom if i'm going to accept "it runs doom"
