   I do think it's funny that Israel is trying to blame China / Chinese bots and the CCP for turning the youth and the world against Israel.

   Especially with tik tok.

   As if the Chinese give a fuck about Israel.

   It's just that everyone fucking hates you and you just can't accept that fact.

   Doesn't matter if Israel destroys the Western world the rest of the world still fucking hates their entire existence and will continue to do so until they take over eerything.

     one of our local house reps is a source material christian and he's like i actually talk to gen z and other millenials and their whole idea of christianity is simp for israel and hate the gays. they have ironically lost the entire plot of christ.

     @Mr_NutterButter i don't have the reading or bandwidth to deal with the trash fire of propaganda to do with everything around that country. i've heard that the genocide numbers come from unreliable sources (which are biased towards wanting it to sound as bad as possible) but the only dissenters are the country being accused (who is itself biased to make it look as innocent as possible) but they have admitted to a number of damning things like letting AI algorithms dictate strikes without HUMINT confirmation
     
     its also pretty self-evident that "colonialism" fits, since they have more or less declared an intent to take that land and everything else is just kayfabe to make it happen. so that's what i'm going to call it.

     It's also the only country that its own citizens get money from other countries around the world to fund their housing and actual living.

     @icedquinn I've noticed that there is becoming a huge divide between the right and it's favoritism towards Israel.

     I've also seen that especially with Christians to wear at least for my observation a large majority of the Gen zoomers who are Christians hate Israel and the only people who are really trying to stop that from happening or older Christians and boomers who just won't let it go.

     In like 20 to 30 years I would not be surprised if the one defining feature in the United States is that both the left and right hate Israel but for completely different reasons which I think is still a step in the right direction even if one or both sides are misguided in the reason why but who cares.

     @icedquinn And to speak to your other point.

     I don't think gen z is like Christian fascism or whatever, I would definitely say there's definitely a rise in Christian nationalism which is different.

     And on the stances of the LGBT.

     From what I've seen very dedicated Christian gen z zoomers take the stance similar to China to where you can be gay and do whatever you want but don't show it publicly, because we don't care and we don't want the chances of you influencing our kids or whatever which is the same stance.

     I've seen so it's not like they outright hate them it's more so just keep it to yourself kind of an mentality.

     @icedquinn I think it's a matter of perspective.

     Every interaction I've ever had with Canadians and people who are atheist has been extremely negative.

     Where I spoke to my interactions with people who are religious are extremely positive even though I'm not religious at all.

     But I understand why people have that perspective.
