   Well so far new phone has ups and downs over pixel 6 pro but one thing I notice is that the battery lasts literally 10x longer. I can probably go a few days without charging whereas the pixel would literally burn through 70% battery per day no matter what

     @Cocoa I am sad to say I've been "defeated" after being a life long android user, but google is killing custom roms and side loading so there is no earthly reason why you would ever choose android now. I have an entire thread about it from yesterday

     @BleachChan @Cocoa @suquili I tried a Linux phone once and it was the worst experience I have ever had by a wide margin. Not like "I don't like this" it was literally impossible to to live a day to day existence with it

     Even with later versions of Android with installation restrictions, unlike iOS, you can just bypass the restrictions or keep using and older versions.
