     @breadcat @MediaActivist @lamb according to their page they have no intent on ever having federation or E2E encrypted rooms either, so anything on it is locked to an external service they run that they can shut down or start requiring payment to access at any time. You can self host but there's no federation so little point in that, it's just over-complicated mumble if you use it that way.

     I see no reason to use this over any existing matrix or xmpp client.
