     I hate to say. The Signal Desktop app is unusable on my debian since reinstall.

     And if you look on the net there's a shitton of complains of people over #Signal on #linux over all distros.

     At least its very picky and its not clear on where and why its picky

     After a #debian upgrade to Trixie #Signal refuses to start:
     "Database error"
     "Access on the key of the encyryption of the Database is not possible as the encryption-keyring-backend was changed on the upgrade of kwallet5 to kwallet6.

     How do i now get Signal to drop the old database and just create a new one?

     I don't really care for any old messages in there.
