I wonder what would happen if I brought something like Daft Punk or Slipknot back in time to when people were listening to shellac 78s, or all the way back to when baroque was new.

I have random time travel imaginations all the time like they're a thing that might really happen to me on a regular basis.I feel it 🎧
I bet Slipknot would sound terrible on Shellac (but especially on a horn loudspeaker) but I am very keen on finding out. I could imagine that Daft Punk would sound ok. But then I imagine a horn loudspeaker to sound like early 2000s desktop speakers and I don't know if that's true.
Both could make people stumble when baroque was new because they could only dance 3/4 time signatures (or so I hope because it would be hilarious seeing pompous novelty (edit: i mean nobility) falling over to "Something about us").
