🍉Since the cooking gas was cut off in Gaza, we've been cooking whatever we can find over wood fires, just like primitive humans. My 11-year-old brother, Yousef, lights the fires. Unfortunately, the smoke exhausts our sinuses, and his in particular, making it hard to sleep. Blackness and ash cover us after every meal.🍉

Additionally, the price of firewood is now increasing due to its increased use by Gazans.
