     @teto that’s only true if it’s a normal jrpg where the gameplay is minimal and it’s relying on the story to sell the whole experience, if it’s mechanically rich and enjoyable AND the game lets you instantly skip all story, which it does, it can be assessed separately. all the rest of nu fire emblem when assessed separately is a bad story and characters and a bad game, it doesn’t really matter, so it does mean something that that one was actually fun to play.
