@gregandcin Yea me too... After living in Croatia for 7 years, I resisted as long as I could when I moved back to the states. But even as someone who doesn't have a traditional job or commute, it has become a necessity.

@graves501 @gregandcin That's one of the many exciting parts of finally having a car (trying to look past the stress of driving, car insurance payments, etc haha) -- being able to combine hiking, camping, and biking into a single trip.
For example, I'm thinking about heading to the Eastern Sierras, biking "Movie Road Trail" and then doing some hiking near Mammoth Lakes.

I'd hate having to own a car, I've even bought a bicycle recently, so I don't have to rely on public transportation too much as well... but I'm definitely spoiled living in Vienna where we have really good public transportation.
Anyways, good on you, Jason, for trying to get by without a car! Maybe consider doing a bike+camping trip sometime :)
