     @Goalkeeper I distinctly remember 27 years ago when the social studies teacher revealed that "melting pot" had always been a wrong, and in fact deeply -ist and -phobic idea. We are a "salad bowl", you see.
     
     Wherever they ran with "melting pot" until 15 years ago must be such an isolated small town as to nearly be an uncontacted tribe.
