     @PedestrianError @mastosalo @cmconseils And no one should ask it. If a doctor asks it that tells you either they can't be trusted, or they haven't thought about how bad a question it is and nobody else has told them yet. You can distinguish these cases by telling them and seeing how they react.

     @mastosalo @cmconseils Uh... no. Women get asked that one too. The point is that the question is sexist and reduces half the population to their reproductive function even when their health concern has fuck all to do with reproduction.

     Crucially these days, the period question creates a record of when you menstruated which can be used by law enforcement in fascist states to accuse you of having an abortion. No one should answer it unless it's clearly relevant to their complaint.
