     @tk I like the 2022 model because bikes that are closer to the 'naked' style intrigue me most. Also cheaper on insurance.

     @thatbrickster It's funny how that works because you can have two bikes that are identical aside from the presence of a fairing, but the faired one is more expensive to insure.

     @tk Riders who ride sporty-looking bikes are perceived to be higher risk. From a maintenance viewpoint, I think fairing is preferable.

     From a maintenance viewpoint, I think fairing is preferable.

     I wouldn’t say so. You have to take the fairing off to do a lot of work on the bike, which takes time. Any work done by a shop is going to be more expensive because of that.

     @tk Ouch. I was thinking it would provide protection from the elements. Naked style bikes are easier to work on but thought it would shorten component lifespans.
