As usual, another dumb implementation in #FinTech #Philippines scene.
A certain №1 (or №2?) #bank is now blocking #Android #accessibility features tagged as "Compromised device". 🤦🏽🤷🏽

I only learned what it was they started blocking after I went through the negative comments in their Google Play page.
I tried it myself, and voila, I can use the app with accessibility turned-off! How brilliant of them!
They are so anti-PWD.
@jikomayo Ahh! LOL, I didn't know they're down to No3. 😅 I hope more of their clients complain about their new "accessibility features = compromised device" security check. Or, leave them. 😅

@Piciok So far, the current implementation is blocking all Android accessibility settings as well as apps using it.
If it's possible to whitelist settings and apps, they should have done it before pushing the update. 😅😅 Although that would put extra load on them just to verify which apps can be trusted.
(One good thing this did, when I was testing, I noticed they removed their VPN blocks. They probably got complaints from their overseas clients. 😂)
@youronlyone Is this with any accessibility service enabled or just certain ones? In Europe, many banks used to do the thing where certain services were whitelisted and could access their apps just fine. The one left out was Samsung's Talkback as the package name differed slightly from the Google variant.
