   I really am not sure why I thought getting into a website of mostly ironic, racist, argumentative anime posters, who think

   was all gay and stupid, would lead to interesting conversations.
   For some reason, I still had quite a few. Any topic that invites them though is scoffed at, quickly degenerates with only retarded people posting in it yes I'm aware, and then everyone calls it a hellthread.
   
   I've never been big on the "account-having" thing on the net and after a bit of time I'm wondering what I'm doing here tbh. I like most people well enough but it's kinda boring like this 💀

     @WandererUber The good ones left in like late 2023 early 2024 and the only ones still around are only here because of the handful of other good ones who are still around. If the last 4-5 mutuals I interact with here got an xmpp or something I think I'd stop posting or scrolling altogether.

     @veff @Nudhul @WandererUber Everyone added the TikTok shit in because the tech industry has a serious fucking issue going back to the days of the MacBooks at least where they see Apple's slick design (as an example) and marketing and think everything has to copy it. What are they gonna do, end up like DEC, Sun, Novell, or many of the companies from "back in the day" who exist solely as a footnote in the history of tech? So that dragon they chase leads to that end. They don't want to be MySpaced so let's rip off TikTok.
     
     Oh I'd look outside etc. but work (which led me to cross paths with people) was a total fucking mess and I was scared shitless of being fired or having incidents with customers making them feel some kind of way, and that happened several times. How do you even talk to normies?
