     @fmn @Mastodon @johnonolan I think you misunderstand our company ethos. We're against platform monopolies that inevitably exploit users. We're not against people using social media for business! Plenty of artists, musicians, YouTubers and journalists here on the fediverse for whom social media is how they earn their living.

     @Mastodon @johnonolan "Today, Ghost's annual revenue is over $8.5M while total publisher earnings on Ghost have now surpassed $100M." That implies a very livable ratio, certainly better than Steam, Apple, or any other publishing platform.
