     so like in the story universe of the raven, it's not actually about being haunted by the memory of your wife and the ineffability of communication with the beyond, but it's that you were being cucked by a more powerful wizard, and "nevermore" was just about getting that dang raven to shut up because he's an annoying failure #monsterdon

     like i guess being haunted by your wife is one of the main things in the raven so i guess the igor guy having his wife be into his son (???) is like lenore's counterpart, like in a freudian sense "lenore is dead so she cannot seduce our offspring and i will not be killed" being haunted by the raven is not as bad as being the raven #monsterdon
