Cringe and proprietary pilled.
Kobo does partially comply with the terms of the GPLv2 for Linux and has provided partial source code for Linux.
With such source code, the proprietary PostmarketOS has added support for several Kobo e-readers (it could easily be free software if they just used GNU Linux-libre and didn't include the proprietary Wi-Fi card software (or gave the option to exclude it) and didn't full the package repos with proprietary software, but noooo).
