   @ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A8. I bought an extremely cheap, thrashed e-bike to dissect the other week... and look what I got with it 😬 (MASSIVE SPICY PILLOW BATTERY)

   It was quite the excitement to get rid of it. Including a trip to a panicked battery shop which told me to leave post haste for the fire station, a fire station that shooed me off the property telling me to take that battery to the panicked battery shop, LOL. Instead, it stayed in an ammo can in my yard for a week until I could dispose of it.

   TLDR: the only place that will accept these is the local municipal hazmat disposal site.

   (Lessons here: should have made them pay ME to get rid of it, LOL)

     @ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A8. I didn't ride that much this week, but I replaced a broken dynamo headlamp with a different model (Herrmans Nordic MR9), which I could position to allow a little more room on my front pizza rack. Took me over a half hour to fish the power cable down the inside of the front fork, and I also almost melted thru wire insulation while using a heat gun on some heat-shrink tubing. But it works.
