     Binlan - Sweden / Estonia cruise experience:
     
     Get drunk on boat. Go to buffer to eat too much. Do tax free shopping.
     
     More drinking. Buy tax free booze to bring home to drink at later date.
     
     Take in the views, on outer deck if weather allows.
     
     
     It's essentially a floating mall with a hotel.
     
     Nothing super special.
     
     
     Maybe other leisure cruises are have more interesting this to do besides eating and drinking in international waters.

     bf is insightful - the cruise ship experience is a, albeit quite popular, peculiar form of masochistic indulgence wherein the true reward is its termination hopefully without contracting some debilitating contagion.

(during "school trip" to finland and sweden (it was lyceum for rich people my father forcibly put into (it was torture))) cruise ship that had whole fucking promenade choke full of shops including arcade/pinball place. I had a suite that didn't have windows but a framed picture. I remember ruining my headphones in a sink there. Finland was nice, sweden i don't even remember and don't want to remember. I was like 13yo and full of angst and hatred for that school specifically (they forced me to learn french among other things).
