Thursdays are my favorite day of the week. I have no classes. My daughter is at school. The few meetings I have on Thursday are usually Zoom, so I don't have to leave my house. I can catch up on things, take a nap, even indulge in some television. But the best part is spending two hours with my best friend, drinking craft beer, while our daughters are in their after-school math program. Those two hours recharge me for another week of work and childcare.

  On our way home after saying goodbye to our respective besties. (My daughter’s bestie’s mommy is my bestie.) We had such a great time. Without this time with my friend once a week, my stress levels would be way higher. ?
