     @jessew The kind of code I'm interested in has a lot of soul. The kind of code that when I ask a LLM I always end up saying "why did I even try to ask it? what a waste of time and energy" and I end up doing it myself better and faster. Even the biggest models just excretes very verbose code that just doesn't do what I need (if it works at all) no matter how well I "prompted" it.

     However there's a kind of code that is shit and soulless no matter who or what writes it. Code that has been written a thousand times already but that I have to write it once more for some reason. For that kind of code a LLM shines, but not always. Even then, I only ask a LLM if the code is literally going to be deleted because it will very probably have subtle bugs that will bite us in the future.
