   @hetzner Hey folks, having a bit of trouble reaching my server. The Hetzner control panel for it is stuck trying to set a new root password and everything is disabled so I can’t even shut the server down.

   Opened a ticket yesterday but haven’t heard back yet. (Ticket #: 2025072803032261)

   Would you be kind enough to look into it?

     @hetzner Thanks, Lea, appreciate it.

     If you need any input from me please feel free to ping me here or via email.

     I believe the issue arose due to attempting a root password change on a highly congested VM (memory and CPU) due to a restart cycle of my Node.js process that was out of memory. (In case it helps diagnose the cause of the hang in your end.)

     @hetzner PS. If your engineers actually log in to the server (they may, if they like, there is nothing but public data on it), please tell them they’re more than welcome to rename the systemd unit (kitten.service) so it doesn’t keep restarting.

     I’ve issued a fix to Kitten that should mean the core issue doesn’t occur again on my end.

     Worst case scenario, it’s not a problem for me to recreate the server but I’d like at least to be able to stop and delete this one.
