   Nearly every time I see some shit authoritarian take on fedi aimed at young people, it's a fosstodon account.

     @jannem Ok. They're rarely "extreme", but are absolutely assaults against the safety & autonomy of kids, especially LGBTQ & NNT. Stuff like "we kinda need age verification..." or "well maybe age verification is bad but someone needs to control what kids can find on the internet".

     I think this *should* be reportable/actionable. Is it?

     Maybe; as you say, it depends on the details. But also, it's different when someone posts a single marginal thing in an otherwise normal stream, or if their post history is full of similar stuff.

     If you're not sure, report. Better too many reports than too few.

     @jannem Yeah this is my philosophy. It gives a more complete picture for making future assessments. End result doesn't need to be banning folks but aiming to get them to stop advocating harm.
