     Curry Leaves and My Selera have the same owner. It’s more northern Indian Muslim Malaysian style. Which is hard to get. His mee mamak goreng is spectacular.

     Chicken Licious is a new Malaysian Chinese place. Has all of the greatest hits (chicken rice, char kway teow, watan hor fun, chilli crab etc).

     I stay on top of these things in a Singapore / Malaysian in the Bay Area group. We are all a bunch of culinarily and desperately homesick people.

     @woody Nice! go to lucky plaza and have bebek goreng at Pak Ndut :) as close as you’ll get to Indonesia there

     Nice! Hi from Singapore, where I'm taking every conceivable opportunity to eat beef rendang. Like any sensible person does. :-)
     
     Bonus: I found that the National Day fireworks are _every Saturday_ for five weeks, leading up to actual National Day! A friend explained that that was to ensure that every kid could experience them at least once. :-)
