@ryo Individualist Anarchism-
it is a broad school of thought, with thinkers from the left, right and centre

@cee Ah, I see.
I was thinking of something like anarcho-conservatism or anarcho-religion, which are both just as doublespeak-ish as anarcho-communism, as the one side (anarcho) if all about no authority, while the other side (conservatism/religion/communism) requires authority in order to exist.

@ryo well I am a Pandeist, but i do reject *organised* religion (aka the church-state). You do have atheists, agnostics and all that as well obviously.
“I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church." ~Thomas Paine
probably the smartest thing I've heard a Secular Humanist say :blobgiggle:

@cee I'm more into spirituality, which is I think pretty different from religion.
And Pandeism does sound pretty much like that from how you and Thomas put it.
Religion always feels so cult-ish to me; if you only fail to check one of the many checkboxes, you're not part of the religion.
Because of this, religion artificially creates constrains that you can't be pro-loli and anti-pedophilia at the same time for example, which is pure bullshit.
All what truly matters is your soul, that's what I believe at least.

@ryo I had a strict conservative Catholic upbringing; then getting into mum's side of the family, who are mostly progressive Buddhists/Hindus.
But yeah, i've been to churches and temples, these 2 quotes hit me hard:
"I like the silent church before the service begins, better than any preaching." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
"I looked for God. I went to a temple and I didn’t find him there. Then I went to a church and I didn’t find him there. The I went to a mosque and I didn’t find him there. Then finally I looked in my heart and there he was.” ~Rumi
